Well it looks like the Canadian winter is subsiding and the first signs of spring have blessed us here in southern Alberta. This past sunday proved to be a great riding day and like every year the first good weather day once the roads are clear (for the most part) was like a mass exodus of anybody and everybody with a motorbike fleeing the city to test out the familiar twisties and straits of seasons past. Out here in Calgary a common short trek sunday ride takes you to beutifull Bragg Creek. This small town meeting place will always have it's main parking lot invaded buy bikers of all sorts on any given sunday throughout the heart of the riding season, but there is nothing quite like the first one. This past sunday as myself on my white '06 and my riding buddy on his black '06 pulled in to the parking lot we were presented with the fact that it was officially (GAME ON). A safe estimate would be around 200 bikes which had taken over the normally quiete parking lot which is bordered by coffee shops and souvineer stores. It's a great place to grab a coffee or a beer and check out everybody's bikes, whether it be sport, cruiser or custom. What a great hobby. Anybody from this area or who is familiar with the location knows what im talking about. P.S. I just added a new toy to the garage, it's now a true toss up when I leave for work early on a sunny day as to what I should drive. It was an easy decision before whether to ride the VFR or drive my truck but with the recent addition of my "05 C6 Corvette (black on black) to the garage I might have to flip a coin. I will add pics later. Happy riding everybody.
haha i want pics of the 'vette, the parking lot, and I want you to know your a hero for having a well stocked garage! Im in the northeast, we are fighting sand covered roads here, its warming up though...
For now this is the only pic I have of the new car, shortly after my last post we got hit with snow and now the game seems to be "OFF" for a bit. So this is it, sorry for the quality of the shot. Looks like it's back to the truck for me untill the roads are clear again.
