Parting out my vf500- including yoshi pipes!

I got my stolen bike back, but the rear cams were shot, now I have a bike to part out. Complete bike, although there are parts that are not usable.

Yoshi exhausts are the only thing I have a limit on, I would like to take offers on those, nothing less than the $248+ shipping for the amount it cost to get the bike from the tow yard...

Bump! Getting some interest in the pipes, but nothing else. I know someone wants a full fairing for their VF!

Make offers on anything you are interested, I'll tear it down and verify that it is in good shape. Make an offer on anything. Have an extra set of carbs that are torn down. Most parts on the bike are in good shape, be glad to send pictures!

 

Sad to hear about your bike. What's the condition of your fairings? I'm interested in them, the regulator and the alternator.

Plastics are torn up, other than the full front bottom fairing. The windshield is in good shape. If you are interested in the plastics i'd be glad to ship them to you, just pay me shipping and a buck or two for my time, if you did a little bondo work you could possibly get them looking nice. Regulator and alternator are in great shape as far as I am aware. Meaning I replaced the stator a few hundred miles before it was stolen, the charging system was all working great. I am assuming it was when he had it as he put several hundred miles on it, just stopped riding it when the rocker shitted out.

Is the Yoshimura a 4-2 or 4-1 system? I'm still quite new to VF-F's, so I haven't familiarized myself with all details, yet.

It is a full system, though, right?

Hey Everyone, I want to start by apologizing for the delays on my side of this... Started a new job in late January and am just now getting into the groove of things. I started going to town on the motorcycle again.

What I have decided is that I am going to attempt to sell the bike locally as a complete bike, EXCEPT for the Yoshi Pipes and Fairing, Also still have an entire set of carbs.

Here are pictures of those two, and if anyone can tell me exactly how to remove the right / rear exhaust pipe, they will be ready to ship!

Cans are in decent cosmetic, and great functional shape. right pipe has one paint drip from the guy that stole the bike and repainted it. Looks like it could be cleaned off and the pipes polished, that would make them look good cosmetically.
