Improper use of the word "literally." I heard someone recently say "Damnit, he's making me so mad that steam is literally coming out of my ears." That would be quite a feat. I've noticed that the biggest offenders of this are the "journalists" on the TV.

 

People who are allready doing 5 under the speed limit that pound on the brakes as they come up on the speed cameras.

People that pound on the brakes because someone is slowing down in the OTHER LANE.

People who apparently think the brake pedal is the answer for any startling or emergency situation, because they have no concept of how to drive or how to use the accelerator to get themselves out of trouble.

People who use no turn signal and come over in my lane and then somehow think I'm the dickhead when I give them some horn to remind them that someone else is also driving on THEIR road.

Can you tell that people around me drive like absolute shit??

Lets see....

-People that pull out infront of you when you are doing well over the speed limit, and proceed to not speed up, so you have to slam on your brakes. When there was nobody behind you for miles. Happened this morning. Grandpa pulled out infront of me while I was doing 55, and I had to stand the Soul on its nose not to rear end the old fucking coot. I could have strangled him.....

-Oh and speaking of BRAKES. The people online that can't distinguish the difference between Brakes and Breaks.

-People that ride up a motorcyclist's ass with their vehicle. I yell at people to back off other riders even if I'm in my car.

-People that wait until the last second to turn their right turn signal on when you could have pulled out 20 seconds ago.

- People that are so inconsiderate and come into work with less than 5 minutes to close and act like nothing is wrong and that they dont know you are closing. Screw you, when its 5pm you want to go home too asshat.

- Or people that are selling something and are too lazy to take pictures so they use "stock" photos.

I hate that... or neighbors that NEVER mow their lawns???

Another thing that got my goat, actually pissed me off, was staff who arrive at work at the nick of time. Nothing technically or legally wrong with that, but if you time yourself to arrive that close, I have every right to call you in and write you up if you are 30 seconds late. Others on your team of workers are waiting. The rest of my staff always arrived and conversed, drank coffee, joked or surfed the net for 10 - 20 minutes before the shift started. Those who lived closest to the job site were the worst offenders. Those who were normally there early, were never challenged even if they were 1/2 hour late.

Don't like that? Iam am too strict? Find work eslewhere. BTW....I am retired. The job site is going to hell.

 

Nope, I agree with you completely. - I always turned up to work half an hour early, just to make sure I knew what was going on/if there was anything out of the ordinary/whatever. Some of the losers I worked with used to hassle me for that but on the rare occasions I was late, I never got any warnings from management. I hated the guys who would swing through the gate with 1 minute left before their shift started. - Those assholes were never ready on time and always held me up.

 

People who drive as fast as they can.......to the next red light that they could easily see from the last red light they were waiting at.

Just about every motorcyclist i meet. I swear, everyone knows everything about every motorcycle and they all are the fastest riders and can ride the longest wheelies. Asshats, lots and lots of asshats.

I am aware I'm not a racer or a stunter. I'm not very fast and I get really excited if I touch a peg down. I have bad form and my suspension isn't set up perfectly because I don't know how to set it up like the pro's but..........I do know that my V4 engine is a V4!!!!! Please don't tell me that because I have a 4 cylinder bike that it has the same engine as a CBR.

 

Yeah, they should drive really slowly, so that the cars behind them get stuck when the first light turns red again.

 

When people tell you to be somewhere at a particular time and when you get there, they're not ready for you!

No lie here. I was on PCH a few weeks back and some women was actually eating soup! I swear this is the gods honest truth. She would at least put it down on the center console when driving, but at every red light she would pick up the container and grab a few spoonfuls. The soup was in a Styrofoam cup like you get at a Chinese take out.

 

If she'll eat soup in the car she'll do road head.

 

Without fail, every time there is a LEO on the side of the road writing a ticket, everyone will slow down and stare. He's just writing a ticket not preforming magic tricks!!! He's not going to magically pop into his car and fly up behind you to give you a ticket because you were 2mph (kph) over the limit!!! There is nothing to see just keep going and get the FFFFFF out of my way!

This is the same for stupid protesters who stand on the over-pass and wave to distract drivers on the freeway. I don't give a flying fuk about your message; all you're doing is causing a hazard, slowing up traffic and possibly getting someone killed!

My pet hate is listening to long voice mails as most seem to end up as confused clumsy sounding ramblings so don't if it's more than a short clear sentence, personally would rather read a query as an efficiently written text the sender can spend a little time thinking about or call them back to allow interaction.
