My VFR didn't come with a tool bag :(
Anyone have a spare they are willing to sell for cheap or know a place I can pick one up for cheap?!
It's hard to adjust the chain without one.

Your VFR didn't come with a tool bag, but now one sits on it every day! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Not really recommended, but with a hammer and a wooden dowel, you could adjust the chain.

I'm guessing that the tools were under the seat inside that square sectioned off area? yeah, thats empty on mine too.

this actually comes up a fair amount. I guess ebay is one place to look. I'm not sure if servicehonda or ron ayers carry those types of things. it's too bad there's not an easy way to find them in junkyards. you know several VFRs have been totalled with the tools still under the seat.

I know, and that's why its not recommended. I keep my tools under the seat as well, but when I have the bags on, or the cowl, or both, sometimes I get too lazy to take everything off just to adjust the chain. Now maybe its just me, but if I loosen that 17mm nut up, my adjustment "cog" turns rather easily. I could probably just tap said dowel with my hand, but a tiny tap of a hammer makes it easier.

Again, I know this isn't the answer, but its not like we're swinging a 5# sledge just to tighten the chain. Of course, carrying a hammer and dowel while on the road ain't an easy task either...

Good luck sir. And I was only kidding about the tool bag joke. You strike me as more of a douche bag! LOL kidding, kidding...
