Thanks guys..... I am going to go through the break in period stock but I am planning to put a fender eliminator and exhaust on. I looked up Two Brothers and they have a nice system that uses both sides... No storage muffler and I think Staintune is the other option. I keep looking at it in the garage, I'm taking it to work tomorrow. Hopefully the weather cooperates again. You guys are gonna love your bikes when you get them.

Any ideas on how to get the warning stickers off without scratching that blue paint?

Hair dryer or a heat gun, use something plastic or your fingernail to lift an edge & peel. Just warning if you use your fingernail the adhesive will be hot!!!

I think that bike might look really neat (even more-neater) with a white rear wheel.

 I might polish the outside of the front and rear. Anybody else try it yet on a VFR? Hey RatPack61, you had the same weather as I did one state away. I like the red. I finally saw one in person. I just always liked the rwb..... right from the original. I'm a little bummed the weather is changing back to rain and sleet etc.... I'll have to go hang out in the garage for a while.....

I hear you! The ride home from the dealer could be the last ride for awhile judging by the weather forecast. Oh well, at least I can go out to the garage, have a beer, and look at it!

Wow, look at that bike shine! Like you, I'm in the Northeast and the weather stinks. My bike came in last week and I'm just waiting for a dry day to go pick it up since I will be putting it on a trailer to get it home. Right now, Wednesday is looking pretty good - 50 degrees with no precipitation in the forecast. We'll see.

Well the miles are finally adding up. Its almost time for the 600 mile service. Is it safe to let the motor out a little now? I havn't gone over 6000-7000 yet.... I want to put Staintunes on at the service but I'm wondering about drivability, will it lose torque around 4-5k rpm? I'm getting used to the stock sound so if drivability goes down I may have to try something different. I hope everyone has gotten out this last couple of weeks. Last week was great around here. Hey TCB2Country, Are you still working on the wife to let you go ahead on that RWB? It took about 9 months of work for me to get the OK and it cost me my CBR but I like the VFR better anyway.

How would you compaer the Cbr and Vfr ? I had a bit of a doubt in my mind about going the tourer route - but the nice thing about these bikes , is that each year there aint a new model standing in the shop man ... year model yes , but as for the rest - minimal changes .

supers - different story altogether .
