Anyone use the HealTech Electronics Speedohealer V4?

Speedo Healer V4 Honda Kit - Tobefast

Anyone have any experience with this product?
I am running a 16/43 and I know my speedo/odo is off.

Is it worth spending $115?

 

I have one on both my CBR954 and my 1998 VFR. I set up my speedo with a GPS so it reads pretty much dead on. I like the top speed recall feature for the track.

Note that your odo will still be off. They both work off of the same pulses, so that can't be easily corrected. You will show more miles than what the wheels have rolled. Some say that this is a false mileage, but rememeber that your engine is turning more to push your bike the same number of miles.

It's really up to you. Some people prefer the odo be accurate over the speedo.

Yes. All it does is modify the pulses from the speed sensor (it actually sits between the speed sensor and the instrument cluster). You only have one speed sensor and one speed sensor input to the gages.

I have never looked at correcting the odo, because I was not interested in that. Just be aware that it does effect both. Your odo is fairly accurate from the factory, you speedo is roughly 5% fast. So, if you correct your speedo your odo will be off.

That's a good choice too. I have one on my 954. It's not dyno tuned but it did help the throttle response.

 

I put one on my '07 six years ago now. I'm running +2 on the rear. I love knowing the exact speed and could care less about the odometer. It's a great product.

 

I put a Speedohealer on a couple of years ago, and agree with DeadS. However - there are two banks for settings, so you can set one for the odo,
and one for the speedo. Personally, I want my mileage to be exact (which it is) so my speedo reads 2-6mph high. That's probably a good safety net ...
