I guess I should have changed that bomb-riding pic caption to "What squirrelman thinks I look like"

I picked up the avatar off this very board, if I'm not mistaken.

Dare I ask why there are so many Buells in that dumpster? I haven't seen such a travesty since this picture:

Rumor is when Hardley Durdston dumped Buell a few years back, they dumped these in the trash because they were sitting on the assembly line. Other rumors say they were fit and finish pre production models, or test mules. Just sad...

Sad, indeed. I'm not a huge Buell fan, but I totally get what he was trying to do. H-D screwed the pooch on Buell just like they did with the Nova Project. Now we just have to wait to see what they'll screw up in the next turn.

They were test mules. Other pics I've seen show triumphs and whatnot -bikes they bought as comparison models.
My next bike is going to be a Ulysses. I dig my Buell!

I dig the Buells too. My other forum TWF is a bunch of Buellheads. I would pick up an XB9R or XB9S in a heartbeat if the price was right. The Uly is a great bike. Known a few guys that have them and everybody that does loves them....
