rear seat cowl for 02 vfr800

Ive had my bike for a few weeks now and would love to find a seat cowl for her. I havent seen many around, does my factory seat accept one or do I need to go aftermarket.....p.s. it is the fastest color (red)

 

Your bike should have came with one, if you can find an OEM one from 02 onward it'll fit. Unless you have an aftermarket seat in that case you'll need to shave it a bit to fit I think.

No idea what the dealer charges but there's some on ebay

The rear seat cowl is $95.46 on CyclePartsWarehouse.com for new. I would check eBay though. I just included new price for reference. 2002 -2009 will fit but colors change thru the years. Red
Was the only color available in '02 in the US

Yes. It will fit with out any hardware. Once you get it you will see how it fits the the seat.
