Not sure where you can get them but they are held on from the rear with a single phillips head screw. I have a pair of fairings from a 1990 that I'm going to sell someday and just took a look. Good luck with your search.

I am looking for a set of grab handles for my passengers - my local Honda shop is into highway robbery and wants 10% of what I paid for the bike for these 2 pieces of aluminum. 1995 model

 

The inner plastic pieces you are referring to are also sometimes known as "naca ducts" That may help you a little in your search. I think I might have an extra right side duct but not 100% positive.
