Bought my first VFR last week, 27k on her, hope to add a lot more. I've put on around 500 miles since I got her and I've probably had a smile on my face the whole time. It just rides so nice and feels so smooth doing it. She needs some TLC, which is my plan for the winter, repair some of the defects and maybe some upgrades in some areas.
Cool! Sweet ride ya got there Stoops. Welcome from a fellow Iceman from the Frozen Wastelands of Wisconsin. :welcome:
Very nice jewel you have and I see you also have a sweet yoshi pipe on it, sounds good doesn't it. Anyslut welcome to the forum I hope you enjoy your new ride treat her right and she will give you many years of great service.
Thanks, what part of the state do you ride around in? To be honest, I'm not sure what the yosh sounds like, can't hear it that much while I'm riding it.
Pulled the battery last weekend, I'm going to let her hibernate for the winter. Finished with about 34.5k miles, so around 7500 miles in 3+ months. Already picked up some Givi side cases to make commuting easier and was thinking some helibars to make the ride a tad more comfortable on long rides. Still excited about having bought the bike. Should have got into riding much sooner than I did. d'oh
Good to hear! Riding is one of those things that set you free just like a drug but with wheels your hooked now!
Today's project: sw-motech sidecase racks to mount givi sidecases powerbronze double bubble vfrness and power distribution block
bike is looking very road worthy. load her up with some clothes and haul your ass out here for memorial day. you will have a good time.
i don't doubt that it would be a great time, getting there and being there, but having just started a new job, the time away from work isn't possible, 2013 though i plan on taking a long trip
