    Wow, what a finish, great move makeing the bikes 600's. 19 years old and winning the 200-----great ride-----but DUDE get a hair cut (haha)

    man u make me feel bad i wanted to go but ...used to race daytona in the 80,s in the AHMRA , and WERA.in the 500cc vintage class on a bsa victor highly modified and blew up on a constant time frame ..8500 rpm from a single..yep that will flex a crank and break engine cases..raced daytona three times even had the wife get qualified and rode my victor at daytona and i had my new racer a 500cc triumph twin ..man that thing flew..then things got political people fighting for control and i gave up on the hassles of that crap..i did ride clear up on the banking once in practice about a foot from the wall bike just couldnt go fast enought to stay angled to the banking felt like i was gonna fall off the track..fun times gregg

    watching that race made me want to dust off the old track bike and get out there again. does seem like it's gonna sell anyway so what the hell...

    can't imagine riding at those speeds for that long, though. wow.

    Um... not 600's. It's 'Daytona Sportbike', which includes a broad range of displacements. 2nd place was a Triumph 675, there were Ducati's (848's) and I believe even some rather large twins of other brands in there. The competition is damn good in that class. :cool:
