Gentlemen, sadly due to family and time constrictions I am selling the 2000 VFR. This has been my faithful companion since 2001, and has taken me on some really great adventures.

Complete with the solo seat cowl and Corbin Beetle Bags. Completely stock except for F&N filter. Needs a good bath, which will be taken care of this weekend.

26,331 miles, good tires, clear bra on the tank. Only blemish is from where I dropped it in my garage 6 years ago, show in pics.

I would much rather sell it to someone here who will take care of it, don't make me sell it to some Craigslist dipshit!

    $3600

I have really enjoyed reading this forum, the knowledge I have gained has been invaluable!

    Thanks
    Denver

Good luck with the sale, but a shame it has to go. Nice price for bike with Beetle bags, too.

Trying to keep the bags with the bike, mostly because I'm too lazy to take the mounts off! If I do separate, I think Primo has dibs.

Went off without a hitch. Thanks Denver for taking good care of the bike and showing my and my family such nice Colorado friendliness! The trip back to Illinois was smooooth. One week later, I've had it out a total of one day - predictably work heated up and now the weather is supposed to be cold, rainy and hailing for Sat and Sun! I'm headed to the LBS to get a filter and some oil for my first minor preventative first aid. I have a seat coming in the mail and I'll be talking to wiremybike for some advice on electrics. I'll be testing the R/R this weekend and then we'll decide what to replace or upgrade. PO has had no issues with electrics but I'm planning on running a few extras so I've been advised to take the safe road.

I've got Sunday blocked off for riding - I really hope the weather doesn't turn as bad as they predict.

I'll let you guys know (the one day of riding was MOST impressive!)

Have fun with it. I understand 2000 was undoubtably the best year

glad it worked well. always nice when a member can sell to another member without any trouble. jealous of your new bike. great deal. If I wasn't so attached to my 98, I would have seriously considered buying that one... I have always liked the yellow ones except for the extra cost for the yellow pieces.
