OK, you live by salt water, so that may speed things up.

Is the bike stored outside? Any cover?

In one of your pics, I noticed a lot of water spots on your body work. I'd have no way of telling if that's just from some dirt or dust, but is it possible the ph level of the water is way off, including the water from when you give her a bath? Do you live close to a factory that could be contributing to some sort of acid rain? (I know that's a stretch, but just wondering).

When I wash any of my vehicles, I run the hose water through my household water softener. If not, the water is way too "hard", leaving behind a residue.

Something is not right. There is no way that should be happening on a 2 year old bike.
