I'd really like to put a hugger on the 12 to help keep the underside of the tail cleaner. I've looked at several, but the only one that appears to give any real coverage is the Powerbronze. The others are all really stubby and I don't care for that look. Problem is, no matter where you look (including Powerbronze website) there's only one pic of it that really doesn't give a good view of what it really looks like. There simply aren't any pics out there of the left side at all, and the right side pic doesn't show nearly enough. It's not exactly cheap either, at $145 USD. I'm not crazy about the finish, but a $5 rattle can will fix that in five minutes. Anybody here got one that could share some pics before I pull the trigger, or not?

    TIA,
    D Dave

As I went anal waiting since January 3rd to ride mine, I started working on a flap to protect the rear suspension from the sugar sand of which my road consists. When I rode it 100 feet from my truck to my garage in 15° weather, the swingarm had quite a bit on it, which didn't impress me. I ordered the Honda hugger, as I didn't see any big differences at the time between its poor coverage and the aftermarket chit. This is my prototype, pictured. Inner tubes are expensive these days, I had to use a mixture of Suzuki and Honda push pins, best I could put together from dealer stock.

The sand is sitting at the base of the hugger after yesterday's first ride, not all over the swingarm, shock and prolink. I suspect the prototype will get refined after the riding season, must ride, must ride, must ride! Sweet! photo 1.jpg photo 2.jpg

You know, you just gave me a helluva good idea! I have a spare hugger for my 125 that's laying around the garage doing nothing. I think I'll see if I can modify it to fit the VFR. Nothing to lose but a SPARE hugger for my 125 that I got cheap off Ebay. Thanks for the idea!
