I'm gonna have to replace the tail plastic on my '94... its held together by spit and duct tape now (actually kludged bolts and epoxy). Is there a reasonably priced way to do this? I'd like to get the correct color and the bits must be in good condition.

I figure the folks here, who have owned VFRs a lot longer than I, may have some ideas...

Ebay is usually a decent option, but it's hit and miss with the quality, and frequency for the items that you're seeking. Try service honda, I also believe Airtech makes plastic for the VFRs, but I'm not aware of the quality of their products. RonAyers.com also has decent prices as well.

I've used Ron Ayers before and they do have the plastic... I was just suffering sticker shock. I'll keep an eye on Ebay and once I get the suspension redone I'll see if I can afford new plastic.

I'mn putting in a Penske rear and reworking the forks with a RaceTech kit and heavier RaceTech springs.

depends on how long you want to wait. You can get a good deal on ebay but you may be waiting awhile. Service Honda has the best non-auction prices i've seen.
