Who likes Fish? (Yellow Fin, Yellow Tail, Salmon, Red Snapper, Orange Roughy)
Who likes raw or seared fish?

Who likes BBQ pork ribs? Who likes pork at medium or medium well? (Well Done = DRY)

Who likes beef? (porter house, rib eye, tri tip)
Who likes raw or seared beef? (kobe beef)
Who likes rare, medium rare, medium, or medium well? (if you like well done, I'll give you a stick to hold it over the campfire...)

Who likes chicken? Who likes under cooked or burnt chicken? (good, then go buy a bucket from KFC, I promise, they do it better than me.)

Appetizers: bacon wrapped asparagus, crab stuffed mushrooms, toasted french bread with spinach, artichoke dip. (if its cold, broccoli and cheese soup)

Fish doesn't agree with me anymore. Love the Spare Ribs, Rib Eye and Tri-tip. Chicken is OK, but I do love me the Chick Fil-A and Hawaiian BBQ chicken. As I like to say, as long as it's palatable, it's edible!

    Cheers!

I just finished my taxes. Only drank 1/2 glass of Dranbui this year doing them. I get enough back that pays for the paint, the graphics that are going on on Monday and a big bite out of the expenses for this trip. Uck-tum-fuggen-boogie-woogie-chocolate-chicken feet.

BTW. I don't like chicken feet or dried preserved sour salted plums. Wife and kids love them but WTF. I am a white guy. I think I will bring some of those awful things down there for you all to try. They are the pure definition of gross but they are like chocolate to the Chinese. Maybe I will bring some preserved orange peel too. I like that stuff.

Potentially bad news. That nice new paint isn't so nice any more. I need about $1000.00+ in new parts. And I think I have a dislocated rib. I will be able to get the bike in shape but don't know how I will be. Mind you, I do have a lot of time on my side to heal so it may be OK. I just don't know if I will be able to do the Iron Butt Extreme though.

Right now drugs an beer are my friend. What a way to enter into retirement.

On the positive side, a guy across the street from where I was came out to help. His son works for Honda Canada. He said to put together a list of what I need to replace so I just may get a nice deal on some new parts. I have been wanting to put LED tail lights in so now may just be the time to do that. If I can get what I want out of Germany in time.

Worse part of all this is I will need a new windscreen too. I don't have another "Hang Loose" decal. What the fuck do I do now?

    Kinda,

I was loading it up on the truck to take it in for graphics forst thing tomorrow. My truck is kinda high so I was using ATV ramps that have a slight arch on near the top. I had the truck's front wheels on ramps to lower the back end a bit and I was parked on an inclined driveway, front up hill, to furhter reduce the arch at the top.

Well that wasn't enough. I was drivng it up the ramps slowly, and I think the centre stand caught the rungs on the ramp, stopped in its tracks, and over I go, falling off the left side of the ramp. About a foot or so down to the concrete below. Me first, followed by this big jesus heavy bike. Some how I managed to fall clear of the bike I think but I landed elbow into my ribs. I have dislocated this rib about 5 times before so it doesn't take much.

Anyways, all that nice new paint is scratched up. Need new left mirror, handlebar and bar end. New windscreen. New paint on the seat cowl and plastic welding, and paint on the rear cowl. New heat shield for the pipes and new rear light package. The rear cowl might might have to be replaced. Even new, it may have to be re-painted if the new paint does not perfectly match factory. New clutch levers and a few other odds and ends. The side faring got a bit scratched up but the graphic wrap is going to cover most of that.

Will talk to the insurance company tomorrow see what kind of deal we can work out. If they don't want to cut me some slack, then I will just take it in and have the shop do all the repairs and fuck with trying to save money by doing most the work myself.

Thanks JTC. I will keep that in mind. I think I am going to stay with the smoked screen. I will wait until after the trip to deal with that. Just the top corner broke off the screen so it is still functional. Again, I will wait to see what the insurance company says.

Interestingly, a guy across the street from where this happened saw this take place and came out to make sure I was OK. Well that is kinda subjective I guess, but he also told me his son works for Honda Canada and invited me to make a list of what I need and his son will see to it that I get a break on the parts. So this may turn out to be less bad than originally thought. Cept it hurts to shit.

Thanks Long. I am going to see what the insurance company says today. If I am covered, I will go brand new all the way around as it is replacement coverage. The rear cowl, heat shield and the tail light are the expensive parts.

What do you think of this? I was considering this for quite a while but didn't want to spend the money. Well now I have to so this is the time. It is about $50 cheaper than OEM as well.

Randy, I watched this guy do the same thing when he sold his Harley.

And then again while unloading this car. This time I was ready with the camera.
