If they wear out, find a sealed bearing that will work. THAT would be a nice way to go. They would now be better than Pazzo's at WAAAAAAAY less cost. I think that if you just assemble with a good quality, synthetic gears there shouldn't be a wear issue.

Or just buy new ones as you suggest.

    Odd.

My eBay levers had a spot to fit the stock bronze/gold colored bushing for the Clutch Push rod.

I meant the bush around where the pivot bolt goes rather than the push rod. Honda levers have a bronze bush for durability and most aftermarket levers don't.

Thread rez, I know. I just got my Chinese levers in from ebay and put them on today. They are definitely an improvement over OEM in looks and feel. Mine look CNC machined... I was worried about the quality there for a bit. I got the long ones, silver with black:

40$ and couldn't be happier with them. I got them here:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

They're going to really set off the ss brake lines I have coming as well. :-D

Just an FYI. I got a set for my VF1000R but had to guess at which model would match up since they don't have a set specific for the VF1000R. Honda, likes to use the same stuff for many models so I picked the CBR F4 levers. Well, the brake lever fit perfect but the clutch is a cable type, not hydro like ours so I emailed them (china, yes) and expected horrible grammar saying "no" but to my amazement they said "send us $10 and we'll ship you the part you need to convert your clutch lever to work with the hydro" They sent a part for a SuperHawk (VTR1000) and it fit perfect. Plus, they can type English better than most people who sell stuff on Craigslist!!!! I'm very happy with the product, price and especially customer support.

So, for you 1st and 2nd gen VF/VFR guys these levers will work also.

I'm convinced. Ordering up a set for me 91 today. Are you saying the Chinese type better English than the dudes from Nigeria who sell shit on CL? I guess that MV Agusta for $199.95 is not such a good deal after all ;)

Ditto, I've been dithering about getting some of these for a year or two, and finally bit the bullet and ordered them today. Heck, they cost less than the rear wheel insert I bought. LOL

I have these levers on all 5 of my bikes. All from 2wheels on fleabay. can't say I have any negative things to say about the seller or the levers. My CBR1000RRR came with some Pazzo shorty levers. I'm not a shorty person and gotta say, the Pazzos "feel" nicer but not 150% nicer. Nice bang for the buck if you want adjustable levers.

Got my levers, the black shorties with red adjusters, yesterday and installed them. They look great and feel like they will work just fine. I ordered them from Michael(434racer) and they got here in 4 days. Now if it would just quit raining.

Snap, same ones I got for my 84 VF1000R - I think I ordered the ones for a 92 VFR750 as there was no listing for a 1000R.
