Im not sure if this is what you are refering to but what I have done for cases and covers is a 2 step proses. 1st use duplicolor performance wheel coating, silver or graphite (depends on the look you want) hold the can further away than you normaly would with spray paint and it will build a textured sand cast look,(it will take a couple time to get it) then wright away dust it with duplicolor engine enalmel universal gold.
