    Hi all!

Just bought a 1998 VFR800 with 20k on the clock, been riding it for a couple of days and am mighty impressed. The mirrors are knackered so ordered the Y2k set from david silver spares. A high mount MSR can is also on its way from italy :).

    Some pics...

Welcome! I have a friend in Pune who also rides. I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance you know Shoumik Kumar, who works for Tata Consultancy Services?

Nice to see there's a Gen 5 VFR in India, my immediate manager who's from India told me the only "real" bikes you ever see there are Royal Enfields.

Hi digitallyhip, Don't know the guy you are talking about, hardly go out for rides but then I am very bad with names. John.. :) there might be some truth in what your manager says, its mostly small capacity commuter bikes with a sprinkling of these grey imports in metros. I had the new RE for a while last year but gave it up as it started rusting in no time at all. They are coming out with a sweet looking cafe racer next year and I got my eyes on it...

Welcome aboard!!! I love Indian food btw. Can't get enough curry goat etc/and we live in a good area for it

I worked on Royal Enfields, we would lovingly call them "Royal-Oil Fields" funny stuff fer sure, the parts were packed in metal boxes like you would ship a fire-arm, pretty apropos. That cafe racer looks smoking!!!Cheers and happy riding your new bikie

That Cafe Racer looks Nice, actually I see quite a few REs out and about in the Country and unlike many Harley riders they tend to be polite on the road giving space to overtake safely in between bends in the twisties.
