Or you could take your Corbin to a local upholsterer and have him adjust the passenger section of the seat so the cowl will fit.

My 2007 doesn't have tabs on the seat pan to even hook the tabs from cowl on... Kinda bummed cause they make the rwb look a lot better with it on.

    pics of mine

Air-tech cowl, tabs cut, and velcro straps epoxied to the cowl to slip-attach to the seat. Still a small gap, but with the handles out, it's hardly there IMO

At 120mph or while riding a wheelie, no one will be looking at your cowl anyway! :) Looks good.

I need to get a shock coming from Jamie before I go wheelie-ing. I probably could, but it's a little squishier than I'd like :). Thanks for the feedback!

I have a 1998 VFR with a Corbin and no fitting issues with the cowl. Do a search on this site for making a bump pad for VFR. It's my bike and has pics.

That is very similar to how I am going to do mine. I am going for the Corbin-esque style that wraps to the top of the cowl. Going on a search this weekend for the red piping to see if I can match it

The fitting issue on mine anyway, is that the seat is down all the way and the lip rests on the plastics. The seat however is ~1/8" away from latching at this point, so the previous owner shimmed the seat latch which consequently raises the seat that 1/8". If you see in my pics, the cowl is tight to the seat and if it were 'just' that much lower.....

Other option would be to drill the seat rivets and reshape the foam on the tail of the seat I guess

I expect when Charles posts a pic of himself to prove his existence, I hope he is not having a bad hair day.
