I haven't tried to install mine yet, but just as Rollin said, if the holes don't line up i guess you make them a little bigger.

    Crisp!

Nice to see this level of workmanship in a build.

Thanks for all the great comments guys.

I am still working on the project, i haven't posted anything in a while cause i wanted to finish the next alteration and have pics to go along with it. It's taking a lot longer than i thought it would but i'd rather try to get it the best i can instead of rushing it. Hopefully in the next week or two i'll be able to show what i've been working on. This whole project is taking longer than i first thought it would but i also have been changing things as i go along. My original plan was to just rebuild it to stock. Then i started to look at things and said what if that was different or what would that look like. So i guess i'm doing a custom rebuild and that's why it's taking me more time. Plus i'm not really in a hurry, yeah i'd like to get her done and show her off but i'd also like her to look good.

So until i get more done, some pics i promised of the exhaust wrapped and on the bike.

I also made like a storage compartment that goes around the muffler. I used some thin aluminum, bent it and riveted it together. Then i wrapped the underside with some aluninum heat shield and the inside with some dynamat, which also is supposed to have some heat shielding.

Kinda a dual purpose thimg...... some storage and hopefully keep my seat from melting.

    More to come.........

Nice Work and Write Up~~!!! I would consider getting rid of that PAIR sucker crap. I did my gen 3 bike and have no regrets, others will tell yah different but I got a long term relationship with mine and notice if the bike farts, and its far better without it. Anywhoo, a sound clip would be appreciated I am sure, Cheers...
