    Looks clean!

What's the story on the front fender? Carbon Fiber? Just painted the original? (I know its a new bike to you, but stock was a yellow)

The front fender is painted black, and cut and attached the screens on it. Where did you get the yellow rims strips??

Hey, B. I'm running a carbon fiber Micron. It's throaty and not overly loud. I do like it a lot, but recently heard a set of Wolf's live and in person. I am smitten by the bass bug, now.

Turns out that I actually have an old Yoshimura CF can that has seen better days, so I have cut it down and will make a shorty (12" or so long), 2" core muffler (with perf. tube and full packing). I want to see how that sounds. I might decide to keep it and re-wrap with some fresh CF pre-preg sheets. Or maybe I will sell it off and buy one of those very COOL looking DanMoto GP style megaphone exhausts. That old school shape and the visible tig weld lines are just REALLY appealing to my eye and I think they would have the same kind of sound I should end up with from my shortened Yosh pipe.

    Bike looks great! Very clean.

I also got my yellow 2000 on Friday. Drove over to Ohio to pick it up. Just last week I sold my '87 VFR700 and started shopping for something a bit newer and found this. Can't wait for warmer weather to go out for a shakedown ride!
