Can someone tell me what are the stock spring rates on the fork and shock of a VFR800 VTec?
    Did anything change between 02-09?

    Thanks,

Racetech only provides what should be the spring rate based on personal weight. It doesn't provide what is the stock spring rate that comes with the bike. That's what I am interested in finding out.

    Thanks,

it gives the OEM spring rate for front and rear then recommends what you should have based on your weight and riding style

you have input your style and weight and hit calculate - then it will give you both numbers

It actually tells you to call them.

    FRONT FORK SPRINGS
Recommended Fork Spring Rate: 0.929 kg/mm (use closest available)
Stock Fork Spring Rate: Call kg/mm(stock)

    REAR SHOCK SPRINGS
Recommended Shock Spring Rate: 14.7 kg/mm (use closest available)
Stock Shock Spring Rate: Call kg/mm (stock

If you can get it. Can you tell me what is it?

    Thanks,

    hrm.....

must be something with that model and year. Every other bike I've ever put in has always had the stock rate.

my appologies - at least the phone call is free

I just called and the person I talked to did not know.
I can't beleive nobody on this list knows the stock spring rate on the current generation 800VFR. It's been in produc tion for 10 years now. (They have not discontinued it in Europe. )

That is surprising. Again, at least the call was free.

Next I would try Jamie daughtrey or however it's spelled. Actually, "I" wouldn't cuz we don't get along. But it would be a great place for you to try.
