So early this week I dove into my big winter VFR project: Wolf under
tail exhaust, Delkevic headers, and 6th Gen side cases adapted to my
'98, VFRness. Whew. Pics to follow.

Anyhoo, after getting her all back together I rolled her out of the
garage, fired her up and let her idle a while so I could listen to the
sweet sweet Wolf Music and clean up the garage. after about 5 minutes
of warm idling, she shut down. Hmmm, strange. Hit the starter, click
click. Though she is in Neutral, no neutral light on the dash.
Pick up the side stand and she starts right up.

The problem seems to be that at some level the side stand cut off
switch is working, as it is cutting the engine when down, but the
computer is not sensing that it is in neutral? Turned to the manual,
and the first step to getting to the neutral switch is "remove the
throttle bodies" which is a bigger job than I am prepared for. I'm
about to dive back in and start cleaning all the connections I can
reach with the body work off...Any other suggestions?

Found it. Sheared the wire putting the right peg back. Doh!

    Quick fix though.
