VF500 streetfighter headlight problem (wiring)

    hi all, ive just bought a 1985 B VF500 for pennies,
    got it running within the hour but am having problems getting the lights working, i can see a green a whit and a black wire, a numpty before me has put a streetfighter style light on and butchered the wiring,

    i just need to know what colors represent what light ie main beam full beam and earth, also tail light non working but brake light is fine, i'll upload a pic of my bike soon cheers Daz

    the stater button cuts out the lights when pushed. If the button isn't fully returning outward or the contacts are burned and plastic melted (common problem on that bike) then the lights will not come on (headlight and tail).

    If I am not mistaken the EU version doesn't have a combined lights/starter switch the US version has.

    My schematic shows LOW-W (white), GROUND G (green), HIGH-Bu (blue) for the headlight wires.
