Need help,(no jokes) I saw a thread a few weeks ago about these little LED light bars with 12 bulbs per bar that you can mount on each side of your license frame, so when you brake they pulse three times and then stay on (BRAKE LIGHTS). They look like the ones that are in the grills of the pick ups they use for the fire stations, small but very bright. OK, thanks

Google Whealen, Code four or something like that for Emergency Vehicle Lights. Or drop in to your local fire department and ask them who does their lights. There are all sorts of lights out there that are avalable to you. I have no idea of the cost. I "may" have something to show you in a couple months as the supplier of my department's caution lights also does many local police forces' lights and may put something together for me. I have follwed a bike with what you are speaking of and they are very effective, especially if they are LED lights.

have wanted these myself. Local police bikes have them and it's pretty tough to miss when they start braking.

Here are just a coupla places where you can find the 7443 dual circuit Red LED replacement bulbs.
If you decide that you're going to install LED replacement bulbs in your '02 don't be a cheapskate Duccmann, remember these are your brake and tail light bulbs that you're replacing.
There's lots of different styles to choose from so get yourself some decent high end LED bulbs that are going to throw out a huge amount of light behind you.

Super Brite LED's has them. Click me.>>>>>LED Brake Light, Turn Light and Tail Light Bulbs - Super Bright LEDs

Autolumination has them. Click me.>>>>>Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs

I bought my 2K with an LED conversion tail light

and flasher module installed. It works great. I highly recommend just adding the $20 Oviedo flasher module linked above and then you can use whatever taillight assembly/configuration you wish.
