    Hey folks,
I've gotten far enough along in my project to have assembled a short list of parts needed to replace broken or missing stuff. Anybody out there have a parts bike or some spares that they'd be willing to help a fellow VF enthusiast (victim) out with?

    • Front Mainstay Fairing Support - My bike's obviously been down on the right side and my support's bent pretty bad.
    • Carb Heat Shield - Sheet metal shield on the front of the Airbox. Mine's missing entirely.
    • Clutch and Brake Levers - Both mine are bent/broken.
    • Sidestand - Bent so badly it interferes with the shift linkage.
    • Right Side Exhaust Pipe - Scraped and rusted thru in a few spots.
    • Air Box Cover - Mine's missing entirely
    • Fuse Box - Mine's crusty and broken, and has one blade type fuse spliced in with black tape.

So, does anybody have some spares taking up space in their garage? Let me know what you have and what you need for them.

    Thanks!
    Butch

Carb Heat Shield - Sheet metal shield on the front of the Airbox. Mine's missing entirely.

There is no heat shield on the front of the air box. Just two rubber snorkels. There is a heat type shield that mounts down in front of carbs that holds the spark plug wires for frt cyl. I think it attaches to choke bracket.

Clutch & brake levers you can find new after market By Motion Pro. brake lever #307-1405, clutch #307-1406. They are identical to originals. Or from a place like this = original Honda Parts Honda | Suzuki | Yamaha | Can-Am | Ski-Doo | Sea-Doo | Motorcycle | ATV | Scooter | Parts | Accessories

Muffler good luck with that. The rest is to start web salvage yard hunting.

Thanks Grey - yep, that shield does indeed attach to the front of the carb bank...not the airbox. Regardless of where it goes...mine's gone!
