Where in the World is your VFR?

Have you added your location to the VFRworld Member Map? If not, why not take a moment to do it now? Just click on <a href="http://vfrworld.com/forums/vbgooglemapme.php"><u>Member Map</u></a> at the top of any page, then click on Your Entry. Zoom in on your location, and mark your spot! Don't worry, no one will know your address, but it's a great tool for finding out who's in your state, or even your town!

Not only will your marker show up on the map, a new link will also appear when you post messages called Find Me, which will let other users instantly look up your location!

So get closer to your VFRworld companions, let us know where in the world your VFR is!

Here's a cool tip. You may have already noticed it, but if not, note that there are three buttons on the map - Map, Satellite, and Hybrid. Try clicking on Hybrid and zooming in on your favorite member. You'll get a nice surprise!

Note that this doesn't work for all locations, because there are not satellite photos of less populated areas.

 

I tried zooming in on me, but it doesn't show my place since it uses some default address I guess. It's pretty close, though. Maybe 1 mile or so from where I live.
