Tank Protector for a 1st-Gen

Hey guys, I'm looking for a decent tank protector for my bike, so my jacket zipper won't scratch the paint.

I looked at http://www.thetankslapper.biz/ , and they look pretty nice, but they're pre-cut for newer models only. Also, I only really want the top part anyway.

Look for the 3M clear vinyl sheets. They go on easy and you can still see your paint. You can do a search for 3M Paint Protection Film. Here are some sources:

I bought 12"x12" sheets and cut them to size.

 

Cool! I ordered a 12"x12" piece and I'll give that a try.
