    Hi guys
I removed my crankcase cover g'day 1 of the bolts was just spinning around, on further investigation it was one with a dowel pin. It is easy to remove and reusable?
I bought some heli fixings and a tap to sort the thread but the dowel is in the way and preventing drilling the 8mm hole for the heli. I trident to pull the dowel out with long nosed pliers but it wouldn't budge.
    Thanks fir any advise

Are there any threads left passed where they are pulled oot? I would consider the Helicoil a last ditch effort if there is any thing left and shop for a longer bolt if you can.

The dowel pins should slide oot easily unless somethin's buggered.
