Hey guys. I am in need of new insulators (paper washers) that go between the front rotors and the wheel. The proper part designation is "shim - damping" with part # 45128-me2-003. If someone happens to have a new one laying around could you please get me some dimensions (ID, OD, thickness). I'd like to make my own and have the capability. At $2 a pop, frankly it's a rip-off. As a return for the favor, I'll make a set for you.

    Thanks in advance.

Not a new one but I reckon measurements are accurate enough.
Material is not plain paper, the surface of the shim is slippery and therefore not prone to stick on the mating surfaces.

    OD 21.5mm, ID 10mm, Thickness 0.6mm

Thanks. That's a start, but I really do need a new one since they crush a bit, getting thinner and larger in diameter...especially after 20 years or so.

    Aloha Greg,

How is your shim project going? Looking for replacements for my extra set of wheels.
Would you be willing to sell some newly fabricated damps when you are done making yours?
