Got a GoPro Hero2 for Christmas. Her's a sample.

I think you just sold me on the Hero2, that external mic is what I have been waiting for.

 

Looks the same as the hero at first glance picture wise (and that's good). But what I'd like to know how are the new LED indicator lights on the sides and back? Are they clearly visible during the day so you know your filming?

 

Yes. Also I believe the beeps are louder too. I can not hear the beeps through my helmet and foam ear protectors with the old one, I can with the new one.

 

I got one for christmas too. It's currently mounted on my foreman. I'm going to try it on my camera mount I made last summer on my bike. Gonna try helmet mount too.




I might have to fab up a wider bracket, but I got all winter to do that.

 

That GloPro2 Video visually is certainly a huge step up on the GloPro 1 a friend owns. It'll be even better when you can remote mount a Mic outside airflow to get the excitement of VTec Twang kicking in and mixing itself with the VFRs V4 tune navigating your local fun twisties.
