I'm in the Dandenong Ranges, outer east of Melbourne. Riding a 2011 VFR 800 and, like quite a few others, I should've got one of these years ago!

Huffy here at North Richmond NSW. Have a new to me 2005 VFR 800 and just completed the pair disable and the resistor mod. It is now a smoooth v4 lump of love. Wish I had done it before the 3500k trip to Phillip Island for the 2011 Moto GP. Fell in love with the Honda V4 as my first roady was a VF750FD until some low life stole her away. Spent quite a few years without two wheels but glad to be back

Looks like we will not be adding Kim Kardashian to the OZ list even if she does spring for a VFR.

    Hey Aussies!

Ya'll better be enjoying those temperatures and riding like crazy. Us southern Americans are stuck inside with high temps in the 30s. All we can do is plan for the next riding season!

Safe riding and enjoy the temps!

Too right, I ride to work every day of the year and it's never a bad time to ride, especially here in Queensland.

    Cheers

The good news is we have no fixed "riding season" in NSW, in Spring/Summer/Fall we head South for the Alpine Twisties and in Fall/Winter/Spring we just head for the Mountain Ranges to the North.

Funny thing have just been watching the Paris to Dakar highlights in South America and the Temps in Argentina are in the low 30Cs.

Hello all - David from the Sth Coast of NSW - just picked up a 1997 VFR 3 days ago with 19,000 ks on the speedo (the bike is all original - but I have some mods in mind - K & N airfilter, Staintune muffler, revalving the forks & a new rear shock).

This is the third VFR I have owned - my previous two were a 1990 & a 1994. (both ate regulators like they do)

I bought a VFR again as I need a faired bike to combat the frosty mornings on my daily commute to work in winter (a round trip of 150 ks each day). In summer & the warmer parts of autumn & spring I ride unfaired bikes

It was a coin toss between a CBR 600F (F2 or F3) or a VFR - the VFR won as I didn't like the power delivery on the CBR (I own a few twins & singles & the CBR felt like it had no midrange - so now I own a VFR again)

Took it for a long run yesterday - very comfortable & smooth

3rd time lucky. I actually traded my 98 F3 in on the VFR, they do have a good mid range, but you have to keep them on the boil (between 4000-6000RPM). I did a 9 year commute from Woy Woy to Hornsby & can appreciate the benefits of keeping warm(ish)
