Last time I was on this forum I had a 99' VFR. It was my first bike and treated me ok ( had R&R issues)

I just moved to Washington and purchased an 02' Vfr, and am stoked about it.
I will be pursuing my advanced studies in photography, at the art institute of seattle, if any one is interested in photos.

Here are some of the sunset tonight

Nice bike & pics! I grew up out there- you'll love all the places to ride. The Olympic penninsula has some amazing areas, and if you head up around the back side of Rainier there's a place called "Paradise" that is a fun day trip. Pretty much any point on the compass is a good day from there!

If ya make the run into the park, gas up and this time of year watch out for 20' snowbanks. Next summer when you really go there, the park rangers who are overzealous about speed limits are rent-a-rangers from forestry schools. The regular guys (girls too) are busy with the tourists. A speeding ticket in a National Park is a fed thing and if you choose to go to see da judge, he or she is a federal judge. The prosecutor will halve your fine if you cop a guilty plea. The trick here is that the rent-a-rangers are usualy back in school in some place 2,000 miles from the courthouse in Tacoma and nobody is going to fly one of these guys out to Tacoma. Free pass and you land on "ET goes home." Unlike many traffic courts that resemble a Barnum and Baily show, Fed court is some serious shit. The smart folks wear coat and tie to get to go bye-bye.

The judges have better things to do than wade through tickets. Some of which are parking tix given on military bases..

One more.. Insurance on bikes is not a requirement in WA.. For really good rates if you choose, Progressive is good. The agent does not have to be in WA. I use Ball Insurance in Spring, TX. None of this shit about "Hello fellow biker dudes, my handle is Mad Dog and I am an insurance agent who rides and I have big tits."

Welcome back. A joint ride isn't out of the question. From time to time some of us northern aliens invade Washington to perform some strategy exercises in the Rainier or Baker area.

My son (me too and very expensive) had some bad experience with the Art Institute Of Vancouver, all of whom are affiliated I think. PM me for details if you are interested. Don't want to start a flaming war on line.

Watch out for those Canadian dudes who try to pass off that Canadian catnip instead of real joints.

Don't sound like the show we got in Florida as if your represented by Counsel "dah-Judge" usually dismisses the point penalty and asseses court costs, (which can be pretty crippling.) Anywhoo-you dont get points on your licence and as long as your pockets are deep you can keep on riding/driving. My last episode where said Off-Fisher gave me three tickets in 5 minutes, enough to make me lose my licence and ran up about a $700.00 tab, was dismissed with court costs of $450.00 and 4 hours of on-line bs traffic school (only imposed t-s because of the hainous amount of ticket imposed) I dont ride thru that EM-EFFER town no-more. Flash-back to crappy NJ, where I was a cunts hair away from having it yanked and needed Donald Trump as a dad to get me out of trouble. ; )

In Florida, if you own the bike title free, or and this I am unsure about even if you have a loan out on it, you can elect to go with out INN-SURE-ANCE. I did when I moved down here and ended up going with Allstate as I got two cars with them and they got some good coverage for me and dah wifey. Insurance is a good thing to carry, if you ever torpedo some bastage thats j-walking, you will be glad you had it.

I been to Seattle and was able to ride on the city buses for free, stayed at the WAC too. Good times, wont forget them
