The two bulbs come on when I apply the brakes, but one is not staying on like it should. Ive checked the fuses for continuity. Has this happened to anyone? My bike is a 2000.

Could anybody be that clueless ?? Someone needs to check online to find the most obvious problem, a blown bulb ? Computer:hss: generation maybe, or whatever. It didn't make any sense to check a fuse when most of the lights were working and made no sense not to check bulbs first, scientifically.

    :welcome:

Here we prefer much more complex and challanging questions than that, not something that a girl scout could fix in 10 minutes.

    :behindsofa:

Everyone here is politer than me, so don't be put off and tell about your 2K ?

Thanks for the heads-up BB, you're one of the potential possible insulters i didn't mention, sorry.

"Let me never presume to speak for anyone but myself" should be my constant prayer and wish.

Stupid questions are OK, cuz that's how our inexperienced learn, dammit. I did !!!

I'd guess--but i'm so often wrong--that "dirtrider" means a young enthusiast just ready for getting into streetbikes, but just why he bought into the VFR universe is a mystery only dirtrider can solve if he cares to submit a bio and resume for our consideration.

Or may be dirtyrider is checking the intellectual capacity of the members of this group before joining. Trying to find their mechanical capabilities, wisdom and knowledge of such mechanical beasts to see if they are beyond the average Neanderthal.

I just walked into dah universe Squirrel, I totalled a 93 Nighthawk in 95 and needed a new ride, It was between an FZR 1000, or the Viffer. Guess which one I ended up with. I woulda gone with the 1000 but the insurance was crazy in NJ, about $2000.00 a/year.

Best damn thing that happened to me, now I am happily ensconsed with the VFR~!!!

Maybe durtryder is a scam-artist from nigeria? Next on the to-do-list is to get credit card numbers for his light bulbs.

AHA! The old Nigerian Lightbulb scam again. One would think they would at least be into 1 watt LEDs by now.
