Anyone with Jardine on VFR800'98-01 ?

Got a new aluminium Jardine RT-1 for my VFR800'00. Installation manual says that canister support bracket should be mounted outside the peg support. But it doesn't fit!
Did I miss something, or I should build me a new canister support ?

 

I just double checked mine. I have the S/S version but it really shouldn't matter. The support bracket is mounted on the inside of the passenger peg bracket, all the way back on the one bolt/nut that is there.

yes definitely there thats how mine is too probably just a typo

 

Mine's in the same place. It sounds wicked and the cagers know you're there.
