    That's what I was trying to say. And please don't mention the CB 1100R. I sold one to buy my VFR, a decision I still wonder about :smile:

    So let's say that your R is worth $4500 and then you need to throw in another $4500 and you end up with a $9000 non-stock CBX. Even at that price, I doubt you'd be able to sell it for what you'd have into it. I would only do it if that particular CBX is the bike of your dreams and you never intend to sell it. Only then you could justify the money.

    EXACTLY my thinking at this point, Stewart. I'd really really have to love it before I'd invest the same amount of cash into it that I would a new Sprint ST.
