If any one is interested Sunrise honda in russleville (I think) Arkansas which is near little rock. Has 2010 demos with 200 miles or less (one days ride).A manual for $9500 ,and a dct for $10700 out the door with no other fees except your state tax. The problem is the warranty is almost over due to the dealer having to register the bike with honda when it was first used as a demo. But the good news is you can probably get an extended warranty for pretty cheap. Well inexpensive compared to a car warranty.

A demo should carry the full balance of the factory warranty the date it leaves the door unless they screwed up somehow if a bike has never had a title issued to a person then the factory 1 year is still valid. If they are not a full Honda dealership and they have taken ownership of the bike then they are now owners of the bike even if they are second party dealership. Honda doesn't allow other dealers to deal there bikes unless your a Honda dealer and have paid or taken franchise rights. I hope this rambling is clear.

Thanks for the info.Accoring to the dealership. The warranty is still good until 2-2012. I am not sure how it works, but it allows them to reduce their price quite a bit. Which seems good to me as long as it is pristine condition and is still covered by the factory warranty

It may be a shorter warranty but if it can be extended and can save over a thousand dollars it seems pretty good to me. Unless there is a catch that I am not aware of. Any information is always welcome . Thanks Mike

Contact Honda and verify the warranty before you buy. The demo unit I was looking at out here in CA came with full warranty and that had about 7k mileage. Sounds like there trying to up sale the warranty

Seen one on ebay a while back listed for $7499 with no reserve with balance of warranty 200 miles on the clock. Dealers seem to always have a few listed around $10,000 on ebay.

I saw that one too, but didn't see what it went for. With the current dealer incentive, they're all pretty much between $10K - $11K. I think it is a great buy for that price.

I've got a brand new 2010 with 37 miles for 9999.00. Never titled. Straight from the dealer. Nine months of factory warranty remain and I will accept partial trades plus cash. You can reach me at 615-476-9100 for pictures or any questions. This is not a dealer demo but a brand new 1200F. I am a bike wholesaler and bought two at a recent auction. Only one left. Thanks, Frank.

I did it i pulled the trigger and brought the 2010 vfr home with me. Man i am really impressed so far. It seems so much nicer then the 800. The only bad thing is when i got home i was greeted with a tore up street. City finally putting in sewer in my area.

Talk about fun.. gravel, dirt and all the good stuff !

U know i think its slightly wider then the 800. Didn't seem to be as much room sticking it through the front door. Guess its a good excuse to buy a new "bigger" front door :)

Actually, I just bought one that was a "demo" bike with about 130 miles on it. They give you the full factory warranty and add on an extra year for being a demo. This is what Honda allows them to do.

I extended it for 2 additional years for $99 so I got 4 years total (from the date of purchase). This price is really unbelievable though, none of the dealers in Phoenix are doing that. The dealer I got mine from was selling a standard transmission VFR for 11,499 and they added on the full 1500 for my DCT. I still felt like I got a good deal though. They just added on tax and title to that, no other "fees".

    great price

What a great price.I dont think that the dealer made much if any thing. The vfrs seem to be getting scarce at these prices. If you look at ebay there are not too many being listed any more. They are probably being snapped up at these prices.Maybe 5 or so on ebay where as 2-3 weeks ago there were easily 15 - 20 of them. What a great oppurtunity for those of us to save $6000 give or take.

I just got mine brand new with .5 miles on it for 11300. After the 5 year warranty, saddlebags, rear tire hugger, heated grips, center stand and sales tax it was 15 even. Not bad considering it would normally have been over 20 otd

Can you post some pictures of your bike with the saddlebags? Did you get the top box too? You don't see many of these bikes at all with the luggage options. Also, I think that the center stand is a great option. I use mine all the time for parking and especially for maintenance. Congratulations and welcome to the forum.
