Single sided swingarm, what year?

How does one identify what year a single side swing arm come from? One came with my
VF1000F project and I don't plan to use it. Need to try to figure out what year it is before I sell it.

If its a Y, it came from 98 and up.

If its a b, it came from 90-97. But there are others out there, but thats the most of them.

A pic would help also. Maybe a price.

I'll try and figure out how to put a pic up, but the only letter I can see that is easy to read is an E. There are other markings, but the E is the most prominent. I have no idea what to ask, kinda why I started here. Also have a rear shock off the same bike I presume. My F already has a later model shock on it.

 

OK by studying some other pics I see that is is the 1990 through 1997 version. I thin it would be best to post it in the classifieds, but would $100 be fair? I think it has everything except the wheel and brake caliper and the extra shock I have does go with it. What ever I get out of it will go right back into my 1000F.

 

The shock linkage mounts on a 90-93 swingarm are different from a 94-97. If I saw a picture I could tell you which one it was. I'd be interested if its a 94-97. Slightly lighter & stronger with the mount the way I want it.

Took a closer look and find that it is the earlier version. Should I reconsider my price?

Saw your listing and was guessing it was you.

 

They usually sell for WAY over $100.

 

Well turns out I have the caliper and master cylinder as well, maybe now someone will buy it.

 

Sold it. Now to by more parts!
