Need a vf700/750 engine around Georgia.

Trying to restore my neglected Vf750.
Anybody have an engine in good shape / reasonable price around Georgia?

is the one you have now beyond repair ? or is it cooked?
I don't have one just figured I would help you keep it up on the board for afew...

 

Well,
The one I had before it went into disrepair made tapping sound, and also moisture got into the exhaust ports.
So I don't know if its still good or not.

I don't know if they are still on Ebay - but there were a couple of VFR engines last week or two ago - looked a little pricey though. Have any of you guys in GA dealt with any salvage yards in the ATL?

 

I saw a vf700 engine on ebay down in FL, but its over $500 includ. shipping.
I don't know of many motorcycle salvage yards around Atlanta. Thought I'd ask around the forum first.
