Into dirt bikes ? - Motocross slow motion action at 1000 fps

Anyone into dirt bikes has got to love the detail in this Motocross footage shot at 1000 fps HD, it's all good but love the bit early on at 38secs to me it looks as if a hand comes out of the ground trying to swat the rider and the bit after 2:25 is amazing.

I got a chance to ride a 450 honda mx bike a couple years ago. It had to be one of the strongest accelerating motorcycles that I have ridden. I have a lot more hours riding off road than I do riding on road in the last two years. We mainly trail ride. Leave the jumping to others with less to loose.

 

That video brings back some great memories of getting the wind knocked out of me and spitting up dirt and sand. Thanks for sharing the cool vid.

The slow motion gives you an appreciation as to how on the edge of control you are with a dirt bike. I have an XR650R, my 13 year old son has a CRF100 and my younger 6 year old twins just started learning to ride the CRF50 this past summer. Between the dirt bikes and street bikes, I've got 8 of them in my basement right now waiting for spring .............
