5th gens should be red or yellow, even if you bring them home in pieces in the back of a truck..............:pound:

How Limited? Would exclusive or unique be more precise ?

    Pretty bike, by the way.

Those are my best riding shorts. I believe in lots of colour for visibility and safety. When you going to put some serious miles on that thang. Mine only has 40,000 km on it....second time around = 89,000 m

My red '00 doesn't quite look as bad as that. Debatable whether or not mine will get back on the road.

I am a new member who just picked up a 2000 in yellow with 65k on the clock and still running nice and smooth. She's so new to me, that I don't even have my own pics. Here are a couple from the ad I saw in Craigs list.

Turned out that a member on this site was the owner. I also have to admit that I might/could be talked into that RWB color scheme.

At any rate, she's in a good "new" home and will be well cared for and RIDDEN!

Congrats Jose. Looks like the previous owner put a few things on her - brakes, sliders, exhaust and it looks to have clear lights all the way around. Anything else?

She's got some really stout looking bar risers, bigger bar ends, tinted targa screen, color matched undertail, pulser module for the brake light and a new rear tire. I might need to get her a hugger to keep that undertail from getting wasted, but aside from luggage, front tire and fixing cracked plastic, there is nothing I want to add/do on her. Took her for the first longer ride today and MAN is this a sweet ride. I go out on my first official ride with a couple buddies tomorrow.

You got it. World exclusive, as far as I know. I painted it with a former fellow member in my area, FlynVFR, fun project and love the way it turned out.

Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like it.

1999 with Staintune exhaust. 135,000 km and still runs sweet. [IMG]
