Hi everyone. Im still struggling with a bad running 1984 VF750S. Its got a hanging idle and nothing I've tried will fix it. Checked for carb leaks, tried new carb boots, ultra sonic cleaned the carb, new spark plugs, calibration, adjusting valves and more. IM STUMPED!!!!

I want to make an temporary fuel bottle and just bypass the gastank and see what happens. Saw a instruction post about "HOW TO MAKE ONE" and cant find it?

Thanks to EVERYONE who has helped me out on my other posts!!!!! HOPE YOU GUYS ARE ALL DOIN WELL!!!!!!

Years back I took a small coffee can and copper tubing and made one. I put a hole in the side of the can at the bottom the size of the tubing. I then pushed the tube in and soldered it. I may have brazed it. I'd have to go look.

I kept the plastic top and put a small vent hole in it. I then bungee the can on the bike an run a fuel line to the carb line. It was a temporary can that I still use today. It sure has come in handy when tuning a bike.

I went to a small engine repair shop and bought a plastic gas tank and on/off petcock from a blown up motor (they usually have a lot of them). They were about $10 or so.
