Hi all, reasearching the web on VFR800's as a replacement for both the Duke and KLR as I can only ride one bike - VFR looking good, toss up between Blackbird??

    Howdy from Canada,

IMO while a VFR won't rip quite like a XX, it won't feel like too much of a boat either!
(I had a ZX-14 that I traded my VFR on, then missed the 800 so much, I sold it and came back to Honda V-4 power).

A 5th gen. with their gear driven cams and, perhaps, an aftermarket pipe sounds even sexier than a Ducati so if that's appealing to you, go for it!

    Hi Gizmo,

I'm assuming your registrations in Brisbane are the same as here in the West, but once you go over 999cc, 3rd party and insurance go through the roof. The VFR is cost effective and nothing to shake a stick at. If you're worried about power, A & A Performance now do a supercharger kit for the 6th Gen.
