Hey Everyone, just bought a 2003, 800A, 15000km. Bike is in great shape, had a hard time negotiating a lower price, as I felt like it was pretty reasonable. This is my first street bike, have ridden dirt, although it has been a while. Have only been on one ride(beats the hell out of any big bore 2 stroke), riding season here in British Columbia is pretty well over so I didn't bother to plate the bike. Planning on taking a riding course in the spring. Any-ways, looking forward to the next riding season. In the mean time any advice would be greatly appreciated, (in particular, riding gear, I need it all and would like to do it right the first time). Will get a picture posted as soon as I can. Cheers.

    Welcome!!!

As far as gear goes, you pretty much get what you pay for. I strongly recommend buying a top brand name helmet. I didn't when I started, and when I did get one it increased my riding experience ten times over!
