Hi I am new to Vfr forums i owned a gen 6 and now bought the gen 7. I picked it up 6 months ago and have just over 5k miles on it. now that winter was approaching I was hopping to get a few mods/changes for the bike. one of the changes i was looking into is changing the gear ratio on the bike but I have no clue where to start considering it is a shaft driven bike instead of sprockets. If anyone would have any ideas on someone i could call (I live in Ohio by the way) or a way to get this project started it would be very appreciated.

    thanks

looked quite a bit into this for a while and still cant find anything. it would be nice to be able to just change the final gear but of course there is nothing available and probably will never be. I was kinda waiting on that 1200t model to come out to see Honda put a different final drive ratio on it due to the extra weight but it doesnt look like that will come out soon if ever. For now I have been able to gear it slightly more aggressive by changing my overall rear tire dia on a 180/55. Its not a lot though, maybe 1.5%. A 190/50 might give it a little better gear but I just dont like the profile of that tire.
