Anyone know if ASV or other aftermarket levers for 5th and 6th gen VFR's fit the VF1000R?

Not sure if the VFR's are the same, but if memory serves me a set for a CBR600F3 will work.

Thanks Jamie! I'll have to check into that at and look a parts fiche. I was looking at VFR and sabre parts fiches to match stuff up but never thought to look at the CBR's. I appreciate it.

The pazzo's off my 500 were originally for a 6th gen if the master cylinders are the same from 500-1000 those lever would work.

Thanks, unfortunately, the two levers don't even look the same on the parts fiche (talking about the hinge part of the lever). Appreciate it though.

Keep in mind that the parts fiche won't help you here. The part numbers aren't the same, if they were you would not be having this difficulty in finding a replacement set. What you need is a lever that interchanges with your stock parts. As Matt mentions the 5-6th Gen VFR's, late-90's CBR's, etc. should work. I can double check this on my R if that would help.

Thanks Jamie, if you could check if the 5th-6th Gen VFR , or any others, work that would be awesome, of course, if it's not a problem? When I had my Speed Triple the parts fiche on Bike Bandit was the "go to" spot for seeing what works between models. It's not working for Honda bikes

Thanks again for the help. I really appreciate it.

The lever geometry is the same for most of the bikes - I have a collection of about a dozen NOS levers and they all fit every mastercyl I have (except the CBR1100 which has a ball joint arrangement where it pushes).

Just to update my own thread in case anyone ever needs the info.

The Brake lever is a match for a CBR F2/3. The Clutch lever is a match for a SuperHawk/VTR1000. I'm willing to bet a VFR750 clutch lever would work also though.
