Towing a Motorcycle

Like many I have a truck, but what fun is driving a truck when you want to ride. I have several bikes and determined that I can tow many of my bikes WITH a bike. So when I want to go dirt riding, I can ride my Vmax and tow the CRF. If I have a training bike that needs to go to the shop, load it up and ride to the shop. No Better way to travel!

The Hitch is custom built since no one makes a Hitch for any of the bikes I ride and I choose the bike with the most Torque. I also designed the trailer and although I had a local shop do the welding, I did the rest. Even installed a swivel hitch. Have towed in excess of 3,000 miles with it so far.

And who says a Vamx can only go in a straight line, I like to rail it thru the turns as well. A couple pics from a class I taught in MD, the Week I picked this Vmax up in N.C.

Gopheraride would like that skid lid with all the skulls and shit all over it. Kind of a faux harleydood look to it.

Flat black is the new white

 

I am not a fan of flat black but the helmet did speak to me.

 

So can you tow a bike with somebody sitting on it or maybe use it for a camera platform or set it up as a campsite with one of those one man tents?
