I have now almost semi- mastered (or so I think) the peculiar riding habits of my new- to -me -last- year 04 VFR, (w/ 14K miles) w/ one glaring exception- try as i might to adjust the limited adjustable suspension, I still find myself front diving in /understear effect on reasonably tight radius turns at speeds above 50mph- she handles great in the sweepers, but no amount of sag adjustment (to the extent that can even be set w/ the stock suspension) tire pressure checks, and/or limited rebound tweaking seems to make much improvement. I wiegh a dainty 220lbs, which i am guessing has something to do w/ this, but any ideas from the forum would be much appreciated, including suggested after mkt upgrades ( My 2001 R 1150 GS got treated to new OHLINS suspension @ 30K miles, best investment so far) Thanks in advance,

Ron, you already know the answer. The viffer is good to "about 180". Spend the cash you will be glad you did.

I weigh in around 200 and have been up to 215 whilst owning the VFR. Upgrading the suspension is a good bang for the buck as the stock unit is a bit weak. It is a lot of money, though. I did a Penske rear and racetech front for about what the Ohlins will run you. Mayhaps the fireblade mod is a better deal but I'm not sure its set for your weight either. Prob best to go ahead and pop for it.

these damn toys get expensive... (could be worse, though. ever price a piece of chrome on a HOG?)
