    Hello Everyone,
What is the best set-up for Brake lines on a 2nd Gen VFR..3 Lines using the splitter or 2 Lines coming out of the M/C to the calipers?? Im looking to put new braided lines on my 86 VFR750 and wondering which set-up is best. Thanks for you input.

Hands down for me is 2 lines. I have them now with a double banjo bolt from the M/C and they work great. No lag and it cleans up the mess IMO.

A slight drop in weight due to the loss of the junction but I seriously doubt it affects stopping power going to two lines.

another note for ya dutch...I went lookin for a set of braided lines recently, and ended up finding 2. one was from spiegler, (im sure you can find the set on their website) and the other was a galfer set that i found from a seller on ebay. i will note that on both sets, the only available option is to go with the 2 front lines that eliminate the splitter, as opposed to the 3 lines that use the splitter. the dude on ebay was asking 90 for the front kit and 50 for the rear, both kits of course include the necessary banjo bolts and crush washers. if you want the dudes info, i can find it for ya and post it here in hopes that he might have more VFR kids.

I just rec'd the Galfer kits for the 2nd gen, both front and rear. Hopefully the part #s will help to locate the line kits a little easier (and maybe at a decent price too)...

    Rear -- FK003D285R
